Artistic Release
Client has spent a satisfactory amount of time reviewing Vendor’s work, portfolio and has a reasonable expectation that Vendor will perform the Services in a similar manner. Heather Maria is an artist, that is providing her own artistic style to your hair and makeup beauty services. All parties booked for services understand what artistic style Heather Maria is providing.
Onsite Beauty Service Fee
Additional onsite fees may be added in addition to current quote. If service location is greater than 45 minute from Heather's NW Austin studio.
Booking Deposits/Retainer
Weddings: 35% retainer non-refundable
Balance due 30 days before event date. Only one payment is accepted.
All other services: $50 non-refundable deposit which is non-transferable of the agreed amount. This will be deducted from the total owed for your services.
Bookings are fully secured upon email confirmation of payment of a deposit/retainer (weddings require a signed contract in addition). Deposits/retainers are non refundable.
Health and Safety
In the event of any contagious occurrences on the appointment day, Heather Maria Beauty in its sole discretion may modify or cancel services due to our close proximity to client(s) if needed.
All clients must advise Heather Maria Beauty and its members of any contagious, bacterial, viral or other illness, skin condition, or eye condition, prior to any makeup services commencing. This includes, but not limited to, conjunctivitis, cysts, cold sores, herpes simplex, eye styes, open wounds or cuts, bacterial or viral skin infections or conditions, golden staph, or any other contagious illnesses or conditions including covid-19. Depending upon the condition, Heather Maria Beauty reserves the right to refuse services to an infectious client, but more importantly, Heather Maria Beauty must be informed, so that precautions can be taken to protect products and brushes from contamination. If you do not inform us of such contagious conditions or illnesses, you may be required to pay for any products or brushes which may become, or are likely to become contaminated as a result of your condition or illness.
All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary between makeup applications. Any skin conditions and/or allergies should be reported to the makeup artist prior to makeup application. Clients agree to release Heather Maria Beauty and beauty team members for any liability for any skin complications due to allergic reaction.
Responsibility of the client
The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the Client’s failure to inform them of any know or unknown condition.
The client must ensure that the make up artist is notified of any allergies, medical issues or sensitivities prior to application.
The make up artist maintains the right to refuse any client where contraindications exist.
Heather reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior. If the Heather suspects the products to be unsuitable for a specific skin condition, based on information given from the Client, they may refuse the service.
Should any client or member of the party become abusive, threatening or violent, Heather reserves the right to terminate the service without refund.
For health and safety reasons clients and their party are asked not to smoke during the service provided.
For your safety during make up application please do not eat or use your mobile phone during make up.
It is recommended to apply contact lenses prior to makeup.
Cancellations, No Shows & Reschedules
Weddings: If clients chooses to cancel services (any on contract) then client must notify Heather Maria Beauty at least 60 days before your event date. If services are canceled less than 60 days before the scheduled event date, you will be responsible for the amount of services agreed upon in this contract. A valid credit card is required to keep on file to ensure that all fulfilled and contracted services are paid in full if contractual obligations are not met. If you cancel 60 days or less before the wedding/event date, the giving credit card account will be charged 100% of the total wedding day quote.
Rescheduling of Wedding Day Services: If your wedding needs to be rescheduled, a $125 rescheduling fee is associated. If you choose to reschedule, the services on your existing proposal will be applied to wedding coverage within 12 months after the original wedding date and with a date that both parties can agree upon. If an additional pre-wedding trial is needed due to rescheduling of your event, a new booking will be required, at the current year's rates. Keep in mind if you reschedule less than 60 days before your event, client is still responsible for the balance due if the artist is not available for the new date chosen by client.
All other services: The deposit paid on booking is non-refundable. Balance due is 100% charged if services were cancelled without a 36 hour notice. No shows, balance is still the clients responsibity.
If No Show occurs, no call, no show after 15 minutes of the start time of appointment you will be charged 100% of the service fee using the card on file. No refunds provided if paid in advance with no shows and cancellations less than 36 hours prior to appointment time.
Late Arrivals:
Weddings on-location: A charge of $15 per 15 minutes for late arrivals.
All other services: Your appointment will need to be reschedule if you arrive 15 mins. for any reason after your appointment start time. This is to accomodate and be courteous to clients scheduled after your appointment time.
Photographs
The make up artist may take photographs of the completed look on which may be used on and associated social media sites, websites, marketing material.
