Heather Maria Beauty is a private, independently owned makeup studio dedicated to thoughtful beauty experiences, personalized education, and a comfortable, unrushed atmosphere.
These policies are designed to create a smooth, enjoyable experience while respecting the time, preparation, and care reserved for every client.
Studio policies are applied consistently to ensure fairness and protect the appointment time reserved for all guests.
By booking an appointment or purchasing an experience, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

📅 BOOKING & PAYMENT
Scheduling
• All studio services are available by appointment only.
• Appointments may be reserved up to 60 days in advance.
• Availability is limited and varies throughout the month, including select Saturdays and occasional special dates.
• All appointments must be reserved through the official booking system.
Learning Experiences
• Full payment is required at booking to reserve your appointment.
• All payments are non-refundable.
• Eligible appointments may be rescheduled or credited according to the cancellation policy below.
Beauty Appointments
• A non-refundable booking fee or full payment may be required to reserve your appointment.
• Any booking fee collected will be applied toward the appointment balance.
• Remaining balances, if applicable, are due according to the terms provided at booking.
Existing Wedding Reservations
Heather Maria Beauty no longer accepts new traditional bridal makeup or hair service bookings.
Previously contracted wedding services remain subject to their individually signed agreements, including retainers, payment schedules, cancellations, and wedding-specific policies.
Bridal makeup lessons remain available as educational appointments and are subject to the applicable studio booking terms.

📆 CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & APPOINTMENT CREDITS
Life happens, and sometimes plans change! I completely understand.
Because every appointment is reserved especially for you, these policies help protect that dedicated time.
More Than 48 Hours Before Your Appointment
• Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled through the Cancel/Reschedule link in your confirmation email.
• Payments and booking fees are non-refundable.
• Eligible payments may be applied as a one-time credit toward a future appointment when the change is made more than 48 hours in advance.
• Appointment credits are subject to availability and applicable service pricing.
Within 48 Hours of Your Appointment
• Cancellations and rescheduling are no longer available.
• Payments and booking fees are forfeited and are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.
• A new reservation and applicable payment will be required for another appointment.
Please note: Providing more than 48 hours' notice does not make a payment refundable. It allows an eligible payment to be applied toward another appointment under the conditions above.

⏰ ARRIVAL & LATE POLICY
Your appointment time has been thoughtfully reserved just for you!
• Please arrive on time and review your confirmation email for studio directions, parking, and arrival instructions.
• If you're running late, please call or text the studio at (512) 798-4525 as soon as possible.
• Late arrivals do not extend appointment time. Heather will make the most of the remaining time while honoring the schedule.
• Arrivals 15 minutes late or more are considered missed appointments and are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.
• A new appointment and applicable payment will be required to rebook.

🚫 MISSED APPOINTMENTS & NO-SHOWS
• Missing an appointment without attending is considered a no-show.
• Missed appointments are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.
• A new reservation and applicable payment are required for future bookings.
Appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy. Clients remain responsible for remembering their scheduled appointment times.

🗓️ STUDIO AVAILABILITY & COMMUNICATION
Heather Maria Beauty operates by appointment only, with intentionally limited studio availability.
Email Correspondence
• Emails are reviewed Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time.
• Please allow 24–48 business hours for a personal response.
• Email is not monitored on Mondays, weekends, or holidays.
• Email is the primary communication method for general inquiries, appointment questions, and other business correspondence.
Need Urgent Appointment Assistance?
If you are a currently booked client with an appointment occurring within the next 24 hours and have an urgent, time-sensitive concern, please call or text the studio number provided in your appointment confirmation.

Olive, the studio's virtual assistant, can help with general information and direct urgent appointment-related messages as appropriate.
Calls and texts are not intended for ongoing business correspondence, general consultations, or nonurgent service requests. These should be directed to email.
Messages received outside correspondence hours do not guarantee an immediate personal response.

🧼 HEALTH, SAFETY & STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Your comfort and safety are important!
• Brushes, tools, and reusable equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to applicable professional sanitation requirements.
• Please notify the studio before your appointment of known allergies, product sensitivities, contagious conditions, or skin concerns that could affect your service.
• Heather Maria Beauty reserves the right to decline, modify, or discontinue a service when health, safety, or sanitation concerns arise.
During Makeup Services
• Please refrain from eating while makeup is being applied.
• Please avoid using your phone during active makeup application.
• Contact lenses should ideally be inserted before your appointment begins.
• Respectful communication and behavior are expected at all times.
Abusive, threatening, harassing, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate termination of services without refund, subject to applicable law.

📷 PHOTOGRAPHY & PORTFOLIO
Heather Maria Beauty occasionally photographs completed makeup applications to showcase artistry and studio experiences.
Photographs may be requested for portfolio, website, social media, or marketing purposes.
Photography for promotional use is optional. Please let Heather know if you prefer not to be photographed.
Client photographs will not be published for marketing purposes without permission.

🛍️ PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS & PURCHASES
Personalized makeup recommendations are made using Heather's professional experience, artistic judgment, and understanding of each client's preferences, features, coloring, lifestyle, and goals.
• Product recommendations are not guarantees of individual performance or compatibility.
• Clients are encouraged to review ingredients and product instructions, especially when managing allergies or sensitivities.
• Some shopping links may be affiliate links, meaning the studio may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
• Purchasing recommended products is never required.
• You're always welcome to shop wherever you prefer.

🤍 LEARNING EXPERIENCES & POST-APPOINTMENT SUPPORT
Each makeup lesson includes the instruction, resources, and services described in the selected appointment offering.
Lesson-Only
Includes one private makeup lesson focused on an everyday makeup look and access to the After Lesson Companion for 60 days, as described in the service details.
Additional lessons, consultations, ongoing private correspondence, or services not included in the booking description are not part of the appointment.
Beauty Reset
Includes two appointments, personalized instruction, and access to the After Lesson Companion as outlined in the service description.
Additional services or ongoing private support beyond the stated inclusions are not included unless otherwise specified.
Other Beauty Experiences
Beauty Breakthrough, Fresh Finds, group gatherings, and other specialty experiences include only the services, resources, and support identified in their individual descriptions.
Unless specifically stated, a purchase does not include unlimited personal consultations, ongoing product matching, or continuing one-on-one assistance.

💻 DIGITAL PRODUCTS, COURSES & ONLINE LEARNING
Digital experiences may include educational videos, written lessons, downloadable materials, product recommendations, and community access.
Access & Availability
• Access periods are specified at purchase and vary by offering.
• Unless otherwise stated, access begins on the date identified in the product description or enrollment confirmation.
• Access does not automatically extend because of missed lessons, inactivity, or lack of participation.
Payments & Usage
• Digital products, online courses, and educational program purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by law.
• Content is intended for the purchasing client's personal, non-commercial use.
• Videos, written materials, guides, recordings, and educational resources may not be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed, resold, or provided to others without permission.
• Login credentials and private access links may not be shared.
Community Participation
For experiences that include an online community, participants agree to maintain a respectful and welcoming environment.
Content, photographs, questions, and personal information shared by other participants must remain private and may not be distributed outside the community without permission.
Heather Maria Beauty reserves the right to moderate participation or remove access for harassment, abusive behavior, solicitation, spam, or violations of these terms, subject to applicable law.
Educational Disclaimer
Beauty education and product recommendations are provided for informational and cosmetic purposes only and are not medical or dermatological advice.
Individual results and product compatibility may vary. Participants are responsible for reviewing product instructions and ingredients and discontinuing products if irritation occurs.
Online group education does not include unlimited private access to Heather unless explicitly included in the offering.

🌷 THE LITTLE TULIP BEAUTY CLUB
The Little Tulip Beauty Club is a seasonal beauty experience that may include curated physical products, online education, beauty demonstrations, and access to a private community.
• Memberships and seasonal boxes are offered according to the pricing, enrollment periods, shipping arrangements, and inclusions displayed at purchase.
• Specific products and seasonal selections may vary.
• Clubhouse and educational access are provided according to the terms communicated with each seasonal offering.
• Purchasing a seasonal box does not automatically include private makeup lessons, one-on-one consultations, or personalized product matching unless expressly stated.
• Club materials, videos, demonstrations, guides, and educational resources are exclusively for the enrolled member's personal use and may not be shared or redistributed.
Additional shipping, cancellation, renewal, and fulfillment terms will be presented before purchase where applicable.

All original educational materials, beauty guides, digital resources, videos, worksheets, product guides, lesson materials, course content, teaching resources, and other creative works developed by Heather Maria Beauty are protected intellectual property.
These resources are provided exclusively for the personal, non-commercial use of the individual who purchased or received them.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• The After Lesson Companion
• Beauty Field Guides
• Makeup lesson resources and worksheets
• Safe & Brave Color Method educational materials
• Little Tulip Beauty Club educational content
• Digital downloads, courses, and tutorials
• Recorded demonstrations and instructional videos
• Original written guides, graphics, and teaching materials
Unauthorized Use Is Prohibited
Without prior written permission from Heather Maria Beauty, protected materials may not be:
• Copied, reproduced, or duplicated, in whole or in substantial part.
• Shared, forwarded, distributed, or provided to another person, whether free of charge or for payment.
• Sold, resold, licensed, or commercially distributed in any form.
• Uploaded to public websites, shared drives, social platforms, online communities, or file-sharing services.
• Republished, modified, or presented as another person's original content.
• Recorded, photographed, scanned, or otherwise reproduced for unauthorized distribution.
• Used to create competing educational materials, guides, courses, or products through unauthorized copying or adaptation.
• Used for commercial instruction, resale, or redistribution without written authorization.
Ownership & Personal Use
Purchasing or receiving access to Heather Maria Beauty resources grants permission to use the materials for their intended personal educational purpose only.
Purchase or receipt of educational materials does not transfer ownership, copyright, or distribution rights.
Clients are welcome to apply the makeup skills, techniques, and knowledge they learn in their personal beauty routines. These terms do not prohibit lawful use of general skills or knowledge.
All applicable intellectual property rights remain with Heather Maria Beauty or the respective rights holders.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use may result in termination of access and other remedies available under applicable law.
Nothing in this section restricts uses permitted by applicable copyright law.

✅ AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By booking an appointment, purchasing a product or educational experience, or participating in an applicable studio offering, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these policies.
Any additional terms presented during checkout or in a separately signed service agreement also apply.
Heather Maria Beauty reserves the right to update these policies from time to time. Updated policies apply prospectively, subject to existing contractual commitments and applicable law.
