Thank you for choosing Heather Maria Beauty. These terms and conditions ensure clarity, protect both parties, and create a smooth, enjoyable experience. By booking a service, you agree to the following:
1. Booking & Payment
All services (including makeup lessons and beauty appointments) must be booked through the official booking link or by direct email confirmation with Heather Maria Beauty.
Makeup Lessons: Full payment is required at the time of booking due to their high reschedule rate.
Other Services: A non-refundable $50 retainer may be required to secure your time slot. This amount is deducted from the total.
Weddings: See your contract for details.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Feeling Unwell?
Your health and safety are always the priority. If you are experiencing symptoms like sneezing, coughing, congestion, or other signs of illness (even if you believe it to be allergies), please reschedule.
Illness-related reschedules can be made at any time before your appointment without penalty.
If visible symptoms are present during your session and risk of contamination is suspected, the appointment may be canceled. If product contamination occurs, a replacement fee will be required.
General Cancellation Policy:
Reschedules (non-illness): Must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Late cancellations (less than 48 hours): The payment is forfeited. A new booking with full payment will be required.
No-shows or same-day cancellations without communication are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes): Your session may be shortened or rescheduled at Heather’s discretion to repect clients time booked after yours.
Rescheduling Guidelines:
One reschedule allowed per booking. Additional reschedules require a new booking and full payment.
Reschedules must be initiated within 30 days of the original appointment. You may book for a later date, but it must be requested within that 30-day window.
Rescheduled appointments are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays only to preserve availability for new clients.
Refunds:
Refunds are not issued for cancellations, no-shows, or reschedules outside the above guidelines.
3. Weddings
All weddings require a signed contract and 35% non-refundable retainer to be secured on Heather's Calendar. Dates remain open until received.
If services are canceled less than 60 days before your event, the full balance is still due.
Please refer to your wedding contract for full wedding-specific terms.
4. Health & Safety Policies
All brushes and tools are sanitized between each client.
Clients must disclose contagious conditions or skin issues before service. If a condition is found or not disclosed, services may be refused.
If product contamination occurs, a replacement fee may apply.
5. Photography & Marketing
Heather Maria Beauty may photograph completed looks for portfolio, social media, or marketing use. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let Heather know before your appointment.
6. Product Recommendations
Some product links shared after your session may be affiliate links. This helps support the studio at no additional cost to you.
You are always welcome to take product names and shop from your preferred retailer.
7. Post-Makeup Lesson Support
Full Beauty Breakthrough Sessions:
Includes 30 days of post-session email support.
Questions beyond that window require booking a follow-up session.
Step 1: Beauty Breakthrough & Seasonal Lessons:
Do not include post-session support.
8. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By booking an appointment or submitting a contract, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above terms.
